    Default best DJ headphones 2012

Google it, literally the first result is a page of different models of Beats by Dr. Dre

Help me out? I'm looking for nice cozy swivel headphones for under/around $100. Bonus points for bright colors.

Numark red waves (very bright) or xone xd40's probably the best in that price range.

Uh oh watch out for the search function posts :-p Under $100 you say? Here you go:

    Sony Mdr-v6 $80 (or Sony Mdr-7506 $100)
    - same exact headphones, prices fluctuate on Amazon throughout the year. Watch out for fakes on eBay.
    - tried and tested, will last years, used in clubs by the likes of Kaskade, PvD...

    Allen n Heath Xone XD-40 $100
    -super comfortable
    - my pair has lasted 2+ years and is still going strong

    Ultrasone DJ1 $115
    - $115 so $15 bucks over your limit but def worth looking into
    - US Are known for the technology they use in their headphones

In ear monitors: Shure se215 $97
    - high quality IEM's
    - sound will blow you away!

Boom done :-) one piece of advice tho is if U can save up for the next price range bracket ($200), you can start looking at the industry standard HD25's $200, A&H XD-53's $180, Pioneer HDJ-2000's $245, etc. I'm sure I left some other good ones off this list too.

Check out ProAudioStar.com, agiprodj.com, Zzounds.com. You can usually chat with them and they'll hook you up with lower than retail prices and also pricematch etc.

    Gluck!

Dude for decent headphones at that price point I'd recommend you to get a pair of Pioneer HDJ 500's. You can pick them up for less than $100 these days and they come in 3 cool colors. Good buld quality, great sound, and they look good too.

    I use Bose QC 15.
Not only is it good for DJing but for everything else as well.

Seriously? I've tried these, and maybe it's just me but the noise cancellation gives me a headache.
