I need a reliable USB hub to use on Macbook Pro please
Any recommendations? I have already tried a few and I dont want to waste more money on hubs that might not work. Id rather pay the extra to get the recommended hub here to South Africa

I'm using the 7 port version of the D-Link recommended in the article

Thank you very much
There are several recommended hubs in this article. Which one are you referring to?

AFAIK there's still only one chipset that does 7-port hubs. I have 2 from different makers that seem to work just fine no matter what I do with them.
im using a cheap $13 dollar POWERED belkin 4 port USB hub. i think the key word is POWERED. mine works just fine although i do need to find a larger one now.

7 port version of the D-Link is one of the best. I have built USB copy machines with those where Mac Minis had 5 of them connected. Never had a data problem in any live situation and cheaper then a DIY solution.
