Default Suggestion: A DJ battle / Challenge Sub-forum

Who doesn't like to showoff mixing skills every now and then?

I'd love to battle other DJ's here, learn something out of it, brag. What do you guys think?

Djforums.com has one, but i don't like the community there..

So lets take the most useless part of that community and bring it here!

i wouldnt go as far as opening a sub forum for it, but if you want to battle someone. Do it! Keep it clean, and stick it in the mixes side.

Instead of a sub forum, why not just agree a naming convention for the thread title? Something like:

Open Battle Challenge: [Your name] Vs. ******
    DJ'ing: 2x1200MK2, DJM 850, Dicers, F1, Zomo MC-1000, Sony MDR-v700, i7 Win 10 HP Envy
Production: Ableton Live 8 and a mouse, Sennheiser HD400, Sony VAIO

This, we don't need a whole other subforum.

I dont really see the point of a battle, every DJ has there own style, it would simply turn into who has a better mix, which is kindve cheesy. A real battle in myopinion is one where both Dj's can end up jamming together and the gates to heaven open above them

Well, the whole point is not seeing who has a better mix, even though that's one of the reasons, i'm looking mainly on learning new tricks, effect combos, etc.. and about a thread, i feel it would die pretty fast..

Maybe we could do what skratchlounge did and start a youtube channel dedicated to it.
