Default Xone 4D Setup VS Turntable Setup?

    Hey guys!

I was just wondering what would be a more effective setup for me?

Ive spent a total of 1 year of CDJ 800's and im currently on my 1st year of Technics 1200's (Both with a DvS setup) so im wondering if it would be good to go for something alittle beefy like the Xone 4D and get rid of my techs?

I know that the DJ Community is not reverting to Turntables anytime soon, and the future for djs are heading toward controllers.

Im a traktor user, and im only 17 so i have little to none club experience.... The music i play is usually electro, house, dubstep, and top 40s...basically a party dj

So im just wondering what your opinions are

You can use timecode with the 4D.

It's Scartch Certified, meaning you don't need another soundcard (unless you plan on walking the Serato route).

Shees, you would think that people would do some research before wanting to buy a $1200 mixer.

I can understand that...but just one really good tip:

New and/or expensive gear doesn't make you a better DJ !

Personally I think the Xone is a steal @ $1200, you get ALOT of mixer, ALOT of controller and ALOT of sound card for the money.

Also you could add ableton into your Traktor setup in the future and have almost full control over it at the same time as Traktor with the number of knobs/faders at your disposal.

Personally I'd keep the CDJ's + Xone and have the benefit of timecode + Awesome mixer + Soundcard + knobs and faders galore to map.
