Default Switching atmospheres during a mix, yes or no ?

So I was making some selections for a mix a couple of hours ago and my first thought was to have it like this:
Start with very minimal dubstep, with a deep vibe and gradually increase energy levels, and towards the end have some still "deepish" tunes but with a quite a bite more energy.
At first it seemed like a good idea, but when I had finished choosing songs, the ones with more energy felt out of place, like they belonged in a different mix.

To give you an idea of what songs I had in mind.

    Gradually more like this:

And after 30 mins or so the mix would have more songs like this these:

They really seem out of place in a mix together (I was aiming at 45min duration) or am I wrong and is evolution like that good ?
I really can't make up my mind, so lay your opinions on me DJTT.
