Have there actually been such attempts and responses by the company? Personally I'd be thrilled if it could be updated whether or not it was open sourced; hopefully tekki's lead on this will prove fruitful...

Although it might sound strange in this day and age - has anyone tried picking up the phone and calling them for a yes/no ?

So did we get a firmware leak? Should I go out and buy an Evo5?

Goodluck to you guys, it would be cool if the Korg Zero 4's firmware was open-sourced as well. Although I feel like overall the limitations aren't as pronounced in it as what i'm hearing about the Evo 5 in this thread.

Default Any updates on the Firmware status?

Looking to pick up a Ecler Evo 5 or Evo 4, but a little hesitant on the Evo 5 depending on the possibility of a firmware upgrade. Hey Tekki any news or work in progress to know about? This seems like a dream mixer for me and my style of performance. I'd also like to know people's preference an Evo5 or Evo4 if you could have one of the mixers even without a firmware upgrade what would it be? And would it be a better safer bet to stick with A&H 42, or 92 w/ 1D's for midi control? Your help is greatly appreciated! This is a big decision for me.

Hey Tekki! Time for a reminder Would like to know if there has been any progress on the firmware upgrade? I have the opportunity of getting an Evo5 or Evo4, and would feel much more confident if there was atleast a recent firmware upgrade for the units. Does anybody have advice on getting an Evo4 over a 5? I need full midi control, and a solid mixer w/ great sound & sound sculpting capabilities. Is there a reason why I should abandon the Evo series vs opting for the more popular Xone 42 or 92 w/ additional 1D's for midi control??? Any & all help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!!
