Hi, im a beginner and i was wondering, What is the difference between traktor pro 2 and traktor scratch pro 2?

To elaborate on that a little, DVS control means you have a turntable or CDJ that has a special record or disc that contains a time code signal. That time code signal talks to the Traktor Scratch Pro software so that the special record or disc can control the playback position of the MP3 on the computer in Traktor. To make all this happen you need a Traktor Scratch certified mixer or sound card that serves as a translator between the time code signal on the record or CD and the computer.

If you don't plan on using a turntable or CDJ then Traktor Pro will work as it does everything Scratch Pro will do except for controlling the MP3 in the software with a turntable.
