I'm pretty sure it's a mash up of two songs. I recognize the song in the background from something else. I'm looking for where the vocals came from. I tried google-ing the lyrics, but no help there.

At work last week the DJ did a little late 80's early 90's mix and I was loving it, all the originals of Show Me Love, Good Life etc but this one track he played I didn't know the name of. I meant to go ask him what it was but just as he finished I had a tonne of jobs to do so couldn't!

The song itself had the odd bird tweet/nature sound in it, and is defiantely late 80's/early 90's.

I had a little search this week with no luck, don't know why I didn't come here straight away!

Yeah good call. If the bird song is the same as the first track it has to be 808 State.
Classic tune. Right era.
I once sat on a train next to 808 State. They got on at Bolton on the way to Manchester.
