Default NI soundcard vs xone K2 vs Reloop Contour

    Hi

I am stuck with X1. I will add DJM 250 and soundcard (audio 2 or 4).

Now I wonder if it should be better to just buy Reloop Contour infernace edition or even Xone K2?

    Reloop - 150€
    +4 channel soundcard
    -quality?

    Xone - 240€
    +quality
    +long faders
    -front jack out for soundcard

What would you buy? Does anyone own xone K2 or Reloop?

Reloop contour sound quality is good, really happy with it . Very loud and clear. Would not worry at all about playing out with it. The drivers for the sound card are asio and found it very stable. Have not heard the k2 yet.

Had an audio 2. Really good sound. Took a while to optimize my system to get it to run smoothly. Very portable sound card.

I would be more confident with the reloop one not crapping out on me in a gig.

That could just be my system though.

Do you need more control surface? If so forget the audio 2 and just look at the others.

Do you need a jog wheel?

It's not the gear. It's how you use it.

If you don't practice you don't want it.

Thanks. I dont relly need jogwheel, but it would be cool.
It would be great to have control on pads in 2.5. That is why I like xone. I couldnt really map pads on Reloop and I dont need other controlls.
I would go for the audio 2, but Reloop is just 50€ more and I acctually get a lot for that addition.

You need an f1 to control the remix decks properly for now. Can't see NI opening up the mapping for them any time soon. For earlier versions of tractor reloop do a mapping for the sample banks on the contour.
