    Thumbs up SFM's Setup

    O, so here it is
Hybrid digital-analog setup, wanted it to be:
    1.) mobile
2.) allowing for expansion (CDJ's, Vinyl, DVS,..)
3.) not costing an arm and a leg

Using it with Traktor Pro 1.2.7., handling 3decks

    Great setup fullstop

Good quality gear, straight to the point!
It's not the gear. It's how you use it.

Love the SC2000 Controllers. Those things are so damn sexy; if only they played CDs

    Thanks guys
I thought about what gear to buy for quite a while and I think this enables me to expand in every direction (if I choose to). For now, I'm only planing on buying Audio 2 for use in clubs (bring the laptop & controllers so I don't depend on crappy resident CDJs) and a laptop stand

I also made a custom leather briefcase wich houses the laptop, laptop power supply, a cooling pad and a powered USB hub (put the briefcase on a stand, opet in and plug in the 3 USBs and the power)

Last year I moved to a new apartment and bought a pair of UDG Hardcases for the SC2000 controllers that also function as stands that bring them up to the standard mixer height. Just 4 GBP a piece. A steal.
Curently waiting for the laptop stand to arrive to make things more tidy on the desk. Didn't think I would be so pleased with this setup, using it for 5 years and still haven't seen a appropriate replacement. The controllers need new microswitches but that's a cheap and easy fix, just to lazy currently to be bothered to find a decent service shop for it.
