400s aren't rekordbox compatible but do have USB. I would personally aim to get 850s, they have true pioneer feel, work with rekordbox, and you can get a pair for 1400 new, or even less used, they do have some funky waveform issues, but can be circumvented.

A possible consideration is the Stanton CMP.800. The unit is fully midi mappable, and works well with Traktor based on reviews that I read.
