heh, well perhaps I'm being overly-suspicious but I always thought it didn't sit very well having an NI moderator as a DJTT moderator... seemed like a conflict of interest, of sorts. Especially as DJTT has always been about hacking dj hardware (think back to Ean's original videos in 2008) and a general 'punk rock' attitude.

I don't think NI would be particularly pleased at DJTT so openly trying to crack the F1 HID protocols, especially so early into the F1's lifetime. And then there was the slightly uncomfortable thread where Ean was openly berating NI for not giving him the credit he deserves with the original S4 design.

I thought that maybe he snagged one of the jobs at NI not sure where he was from (Germany)??

But he was very Knowledgeable on NI products, especially the DJ division

not sure where he's from, but pretty sure he lives in the UK.

and yeah he definitely knew his stuff, NI-wise... probably as a result of the contacts he had from co-writing The Traktor Bible etc...
