Default Is the 5 on 4 rhythm overused?

There is no way that anyone that has listened to a decent amount of techno has not heard what I'm talking about. There are several examples, one would be deadmau5 "Limit Break" The whole song is a drum beat and the 5/4 rhythm stabs. A good majority of the songs in Tiesto Club Life Volume 2 use the rhythm too. I like it a lot, but I think its starting to become too much of a good thing.

    What do you think?
Ableton Live 9, Traktor, VCI-400, APC40, QuNeo, Lemur iOS

Most of EDM has trends of styles that someone invents, others pick up, then they are mis-used and becomes a cliche. And much later it's considered a classic sound. Repeat the pattern.
