    Default Help discerning genre

I've been genre digging lately and found alot of house jams like these, and was wondering what genre are they exactly? I love the heavy kick with the simple melodies, they kill at the venue I play at. Any help appreciated

probably something between electro house and prog house. on "atom" the main parts are prog house-ish in their structure but the breakdown says electro house. same with "epic" but with dutch house influences.

Personally I wouldn't put either in the progressive or electro bracket whatsoever both just sound like slowed down trance to me.

But progressive house is where they land in Beatport so progressive they must be

note how i only said prog-ish and i'd said closer to that than to trance that said, some tracks are really hard to label with just one genre tag. i named those two because they are the closest, in my opinion, to anything i would associate the tracks with in terms of structure.

OP: as for similar tracks try "Green Velvet - Flash (Nicky Romero Remix)" or "Steve Angello - Rave n Roll"
