    Default New controller

I know that people have NDA's and such but does anyone know/ think NI will have a new controller to replace the s4 or s2 within the next few months?

I am considering picking up an s2 but is there something worth waiting for?

I doubt you'll find what you really want to know, but if you want an S2, it's already much cheaper than what I paid for it, when it came out which was $650.

When they come up with something new I wouldn't bet it will be another all in one controller. I guess NI need some modular controller prototypes in their labs soon to answer Behringer CMD line.

It will be replaced by something newer, in time.

Whether its 6 months or a year, I don't think NI is gonna sit back and watch everyone else come up with newer models etc.

You can always bet on new equipment announcements around the beginning of the year because if how trade show heavy that time is . BPM is also coming up in October, and I'm sure several new products will be announced there as well.

    This.

Plus the fact that even if you were to see a new 'teaser' video today, it usually takes a few months for it to actually release.

dj gear is becoming the new iphones .. even though what you got is perfectly fine and will serve you well for many years, some people just have to get the latest model, even 6 months later

NI needs to release a new S4 with an LED that travels around the jogwheel, similar to the VCI 380 for Itch. Something so simple makes a huge difference. That's the one thing that's bugged me forever about trying to scratch on the S4, no feedback about where you are in the sample, you always have to look at the screen.
