Default really hate asking this sort of question but so far the manual is failing me

i use serato, bought an x1 earlier and since it came with the 2.5 license i installed it to give it a go. what my problem is, is when i go to set up the timecode by clicking on the decks letter the drop down menu doesnt have the option for "scratch playback" it just gives me the deck types. the manual backs this up and google isnt being fruitful

You have Traktor Pro, not Traktor Scratch Pro.

They dropped LE and Duo, not the Scratch/Pro divide. You still need a certified audio interface or mixer plugged in to use time code. The software is the same, though.

ahhhh, wish NI had licensing the same way serato does as this is the second time ive bought a piece of their hardware and thought "why not give it a try" only to be left with a bad taste in my mouth. bought an audio 4 to use with ableton, but it was used and the previous owner never deregistered the software license, and now this. bought it for serato, figured id give 2.5 a go because why not?. not bashing NI but its been nothing but a pain in the ass everytime i give them a shot
