Pioneer....why? (Headphones rant)
I've heard from many Pioneer reps that you shouldn't remove the mini-xlr cable for the hdj-2000 unless you need to replace it for wear and tear reasons. Then why the hell is the new official hard case ($40) designed so that you have to take out the cable everytime?

Anyone have any other alternatives for a hardcase for the hdj-2000?

i used to do that and my cable died within 2 months. still under warranty, took pioneer 2 months to send me a new one

i neved had a problem with my mini xlr... i plug it in and out after every gig... my current set have lasted 2 years now... had to change the Jack though... to a proper neutrik jack...
