Default Such a noob question, but can ya help please??

In this video, how do you get that effect that starts at 5:18 and goes till 6:00?? I think it's sick, you can make your own buildup - just how's it done?? I'm stumped.

Do you have the song on a loop, how does the effect only change the highs, it sounds like the drums aren't affected at all .. And then how do you change the sound of it from 5:50-6:00 ... Basically, just step by step, HOW THE F DO YOU DO THAT?!? haha.. I'm such a noob, but whatever, I gotta learn. And so far, this is one effect I can't figure out and I think it's f'n awesome.

As its not affecting the drums, it may be part of the track i suspect, But if you want to do a sort of drum roll you can start a loop off at say 1/32 and reduce the size. You can do stuff like copying the deck and killing the highs on the second one and the bass on the first one, then you can destroy the track to your hearts content

Yep. @OnDelay i would say the best way to emulate effects that you like is to just practise and experiment! Eventually you will discover that two or three effects together actually sound pretty kick ass, like phaser flux and mulholland drive. Boom

Yeah sounds like a short delay with alot of feedback, then the part before it the track drops sounds like something thats done with granular synthesis.
