    what to producers use to produce music? software? I'm interested in starting

    Electronic music production is done on a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation)

    Any DAW will suffice.

    Programs like Ableton, Logic, FL Studio, Reason etc.

    Check out what you like.

    Use google or watch some YouTube videos. And also use the SEARCH function there are a million threads on this topic.....
