    Default Microphone for HD25's

I've been googling for a bit and decided that I can't be the only one of the planet wanting this.

I've seen various shots on the web, and on the TV, of people with mic's added to their HD25's (mark II).

Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to get these parts, or alternatively, a link to modding the headphones using unofficial mics.

Have you tried just plugging them into a 1/4" Mic jack?

I guess he'd like to use the mic as he listen to some audio, not using the membrane of the headphones as a mic (that sounds crap, really, but that's a good emergency mic @ a gig)

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

Just to clarify, I was hoping for a mic to add onto an existing HD25, but I'm guessing you have to buy the HDM25 ?
I have seen one blog where someone added a mic to an existing HD25 but the instructions weren't very clear.

Maybe its time for a DIY challenge!

Oh, as an update to this thread, found a guy trying exactly what i wanted to do, but seems the parts to do it are basically the same price as buying an entire headset...

    So, DIY option it is!

Just bought one myself. Sick of not having both hands free and can't usually be arsed to set up the mic stand. Hope the sound quality stands up
