    Default beat jump issue

When i was mixing internally using my S2 and X1 the beat jump feature would correlate to value selected by the loop length. But since i moved to an external mixer it seems my beatjump is locked to 8 beats not matter what value i have selected.
Can someone shed some light onto this?

just go into the x1 mapping and change the value. I have mine set to 4 beats, but if you want to take your time you can make it as complicated as you want. it shouldn't be too hard to map.

But why would this have changed in the first place?? I was always using the native X1 mapping, and it worked by using the value selected by the loop length. All I did was swap to an external mixer. Im hoping there is a setting or option I can easily change, because I have never changed anything with respect to mapping and it all seems like a different language to me.
If anyone has any other advice it is much appreciated.

I have looked at the controller editor and cant seem to figure out how I would map this.

beat jump value = loop size or something like that. I did it a while ago...
