Default What do I need for my PA system!

Ok I have an update and a few questions!

    1. I have Mini KP and I am getting a VCI 100 soon. How many inputs and outputs should i look for in a soundcard?

    2. I think I am going to get some JBL Active 15 Eon's. Good Idea? I am not too fond of the whole Amp/passive speakers think. Seems too complicated.

    3. What else would I need?

I have had bad experiences with the Eon's distorting at high volumes... just sayin

I'd suggest Phonic if you're looking for good powered speakers that aren't very expensive. I think they're a very underappreciated brand. JBL & Mackie are going to cost you. You might get a good deal on Samson or EV (ElectroVoice); if so, I'd definitely grab it. You're almost certainly going to have to buy used if you're on a major budget. Craigslist Is Your Friend.

I got a complete Peavey PA system myself.

A Peavey XTR-400B poweramp with two Peavey monitors. (Don't know what type anymore, have to look for that one. )

But, it is great, I am even using it as a monitor system while performing gigs with my bands!
