Traktor Pro 2

We just successfully purchased and downloaded Traktor Pro 2. We use a simple controller called "Discover DJ" by ION. We are having trouble using the Set Up Wizard to get going and practicing. Is Traktor Pro 2 compatible with the Discover DJ controller? or should we give up and buy something a bit more sophisticated like Dragon 2 or other controller. What would you recommend for a not too expensive upgrade for a controller that will work for the Traktor Pro 2 software.

If the ION controller outputs MIDI, it can be used with Traktor. However, if there is no mapping file provided by the manufacturer, you will have to map the controls to Traktor functions yourself using the Controller Manager in Traktor preferences.

One of the things I like about Traktor is the plethora of mappings to choose. http://maps.djtechtools.com/ has two mappings to choose from from this site, but you can probably find more by digging.
