    I'm currently using TP 2.1.3 with a Vestax VCI-400 EGE on a late 2011 13" MBP.

    2.5.1 on 10.8.2 running on a mid 09 13" mbp, no issues.

    Serato. It seems to be the standard around my area. Major plus being a Rane product.

    Traktor for now will be trying the new Serato DJ next month when I get the DDJ SX
    DJ setup 1 - Pioneer XDJ-Aero, Pioneer DDJ-SP1, Mixvibes Cross, Macbook Air 13", Pioneer HDJ 2000. DJ setup 2 - NI Kontrol F1, Z1, X1mkII, Traktor Pro2, Macbook Air 13", Pioneer HDJ 2000 w. Production - iMac 21.5", Motu 828x, Icon Qcon Pro + EX, Nektar Panorama P4, Propellerhead Reason, Mashine Mikro(drum programer in Reason)

    yeah i quite fancy the new pio controller to , using traktor just now with my vci-400 am only mixing with 2 decks and i hate the effects especially the filter sounds gimmicky i think... anyone know if you will be able to record your sets in the new serato?

    Serato, their control vinyl is better. And since all I use from either party is the control vinyl that's all I care about ;P

    Rane doesn't make Serato, just the mixers to make Scratch Live work. That said you can call Rane for software support for Scratch Live.

    I'll remember that when I have a problem. Until then, my Serato has been solid like a Rane product should be.
