    right am now using serato and i want to record am using the phone 1/4 output which runs into my monitors which are rca.. (monitors dont have xlr) been looking every where and cant find nothing

    i would imagine i would need something like this but with a mini jack coming off of it so it can go into my mic of my laptop

    I then run a single jack to jack cable from this into the PC or my Audio Recorder.

    I have one of these myself for doing exactly what you want to do.

    Plug 'em into your mixer 1/4 outs

    Plug the stacking end into the 1/4 to RCA's in your mixer outs, and the loose ends into your monitors

    Plug it into the stackable end of the RCA, and the jack end into your laptop.
