Default Mix Train #2 Electro Rock (Complete)

Here is how it worked. First 6 to sign up were in, no qualifying on this run. We started with the first DJ on the list (which was me, DJ_special_K). First DJ made a mix and leaved 32 bars for the next DJ to mix into. When a DJ was done they submitted the mix to me (greatmesk) and I passed it to the next DJ so they can download it and start off were the last DJ finished. Each DJ got 10 minutes of mixing so the total mix is approximately 1 hour long. Each DJ got ONE week to knock out there part, so the entire mix should be done in SIX weeks. Fate didnt like that idea. Almost every DJ had a delay due to personal problems. But atleast we finished. Its a Beast. Thanks to all DJ´s on the mix. Its been a long way, was it.

    THE LIST:

    Really?

    Electro-Rock.... I'll be damned.
Nothing I usually hear or even have.

But I'm up for the challenge.

    You know what?

I'm also thinking electro and rock, not just electro-rock if you know what I mean .

But I'll decide the week I'm on and hear what my predeccessors have done.

Any way, this should be fun.

hey if you dont have any electro rock thats fine. just put some of your fine electro tracks.

I would ask to keep the BPM @ 130.00 if that is fine with everyone?

thats pretty fast...but why not change the tempo trough crazy transition-action-shizzle...

my thoughts: any genre is welcome, but it would be nice if we all have like a guideline throughout the set. like hard guitars, samples from rock tracks and so on. We can surely keep the bpm at 130, transitions are welcome too. You may even play another bpm the whole time, if you switch back to 130 at the end of your mix for the next dj to step in.

Everything is possible, spin some hardhouse or drum and base and add a little bit rock on top, add a sample, small blend or whatever. What would really get me excited is something people wouldnt expect to happen, like korn on DnB, metallica scratches... think of ean´s seven nation army routine as a reference

tbh, i am not too comfortable with rock myself, but im open minded and got some great ideas in the back of my mind

EDIT: changed the first post. does everyone feel ok with the conditions?
