The automap is something novation does really well with all the other novation controller!

Can't wait to get this app! I'm wondering if we will be able to customise it as a "mini-lemur"

To be honest i am not a huge fan of automap, its got some nice points but serrrrrrrriously needs some overhauling if people want to use it live.

Midi messages are way more programable and more easily manipulated so you can do what you want and not what Automap thinks that you might want.

It should do, I mean pretty much anything that works on the iphone works on the ipod touch just minus phone calls and txtn and all the so called phone functions and iphones and ipod touches are pretty much the same.

I do agree with you for midi being way more "customizable" but my workflow improved a lot with the novation SL 25. I almost got rid of the mouse and sound designing became more intuitive again like in the old days with hardwares!

Like everything it's just a matter of how you feel comfortable and for me the automap works just fine!

    Well ok, no more threadhijacking!

+1, you're so right about that!

however the automap thing has its benefits, you just gotta treat it different than the good old midi imo!
i'll give that app a go for sure when its out!
