My GF and I listened to your mix while putting together a puzzle of beer bottles. We listened on the Klipsches, but with the subwoofer turned off/down. Here's my feedback.

- Intro track was nice, pleasantly intro-y. A little bit cheap to use such a mainstream vocal as an intro, but I liked it.

- Overall your levels were a bit heavy-handed, especially in transition. I didn't feel like you were working the EQ and especially the gain as much as you might.

- This mix is done with traktor, right? Because your beat matching was on, only heard a few phasing issues and the occasional phrasing issue.

- The deeply vocal section in the middle didn't really work for my tastes.

- Overall track selection was pretty good, but I'm not sure the balance of type of tracks made that much sense to me.

All in all, not a bad mix, but probably not one I will listen to again. FWIW!

thanks for feedback. It was guest mix for a radio show which plays 70/80s music. . I don't have any but I have stuff that have that feel. She heard my other mixes and thought it was cool but needed to be an hour long. I think I did what I felt was right for the show. And the music selection was just trying to start at 118 bpm and try to get at 124-125.

It was on traktor, which I hadnt had for that long so I didnt really know about the auto gain thing lol

Ill listen to to the mix and kind of pick up on soem of the stuff you pointed out.

Actually, then totally mission accomplished. My GF and I actually talked about how your mix would be appropriate on such a radio station, for the saturday night mega mix.
