    Default VCI-400 Trouble

I just bought the VCI-400 EGE and I absolutely love it, but for some reason when I snap the volume fader on Deck A it twitches within Traktor. It's kind of a big issue as one could probably guess. If there is a fix other than buying a new fader please let me know.

Thank you very much in advance.

Could bi just a dirty fader. Try to clean it first with some caned air.

This seems to be a common issue with the 400. I am having a crossfader and 1 of my volume faders glitching / jumping. Going to send it in and let them fix it along with some other issues.

I think I will try this. I did just play a 3 day outdoor gig, so that could very well, be the issue. I will post up a follow up regarding how well it works for other people.

Now once I've cleaned the fader with the canned air, if it still doesn't work? What is the next step I should take?

Next use some deoxit contact cleaner spray but note that it can remove lubricant along with the dirt, making the fader sound better, but feeling very stiff or gritty.
