    Default Spurious midi data

    Hey

I've got a slight problem with my diy controller in that all
my knob/pots are sending out spurious midi data pretty much constantly. They are fine at 0 or 127 but not in between. This Is obviously really annoying as they can't be used effectively. Is there any way to filter the signals or alter my pots at all?

I checked the Hale forum here, http://forums.halemicro.com/index.php?topic=61.0 , and there are a few things he recommends. If they are 10k pots, and they're pulled to ground, and they aren't dirty, it seems like the best fix is to use the beta v2.1.5 firmware. You can get the firmware/bootloader/manual/configuration utility, here http://forums.halemicro.com/index.php?topic=73.0

I use Deoxit D5. I've used it on everything from my old analog mixers to my midi controllers.
It cost around $15 a can, and one can will last a long time.
