Anyone out there doing 80's mashups or Latin/Classic House

I would like get some music from these genres, and since I am born in 89, I have little experience with hearing any of them, if you guys might throw me some pointers on where to start looking (well listening) and some of your fav choons I'd be really grateful. Anyhow happy friday DJTT.

Ed. I want to mashup 80's songs, if anyone is a mashup dj and can give pointers, or some mix examples on the net/youtube I'd love to have a listen.

Why in gods name would you want to do mashups in the first place? And with those god awful 80's songs on top of it?

Just to have fun once in a while, not a full time thing lol. I think I might kill myself if I did it all the time.

the 80's/disco mashup thing is growing around here..scary stuff.

i always check the iMix's people put on the itunes store, there's always a few good directional pointers there to narrow it down. itunes store->music->imix

A good way to do it also is to find those "Best of the 80's" mixes and then do searches for those songs + mashup. I'm sure you can find a lot of stuff. When I get home I'll put up the mashup I found of The Hand that Feeds and Never Gonna Give You Up. Literally stopped a whole party in its tracks and everyone just went nuts.
