Music genre: song suggestions

Hi all,

Perhaps it's just me, but there's nothing better than hearing some amazing track somewhere and then finally getting it for yourself to rock out to.

We all love music, and everyone here gets and listens to new songs from a variety of sources.
While it's all well and good to sit on Beatport for hours, hitting the preview on every song in a genre, it'd be nice to get more personal suggestions.

I was thinking how cool (and possibly time saving) it would be for people to post up the names of their current favourite tracks and the respective genre.
Alternatively, if someone has a genre they are looking for songs in, people could post up track/artist/label suggestions.
Of course, it's then up to you to find the tracks on the websites/sources at your disposal.

For example, right now I'm digging

Electro: Coburn - We Interrupt this Program (Jean Claude Ades Remix)
Electro: Jean Elan - Killer (Jean Elan Mix)
and
Prog Trance: Arnej - People Come, People Go (Maor Levi Remix)

I'd love to get suggestions for any sweet Prog. Trance, Prog. House or Electro tracks. Old or new.

check out how the dnb is dead thread works, its all the dnb-heads chucking up badass tracks for all to appreciate. youd almost need one thread per genre (although could clutter the forums somewhat) or genre group, ie dnb/dubstep has more or less the same following so they work well in the same thread. otherwise i can see this thread also being a bit of a mess as its hard to put order to such a diverse topic. if ya get my drift...

Yea I guess you would really need one thread per genre in retrospect....

Ah well, back to scouring the interwebs for music i guess.
Unless anyone DOES have any good suggestions for prog. house/trance......

(btw that song is pretty nuts. Makes me want to try playing a bit of dnb/dubstep)

For dubstep heads.. I dunno whether you've seen the channel on youtube called 'SuperDhrSiN' - lots of previews of new songs.. hit it up if you haven't already!
