Nice one - this concept looks cool. I can see how useful this mapping can be when using effects in a traditional way. And the great thing is that it can be upgraded in to FX utility mapping with all necessary controls over FX Units in Traktor.

Thank you for contributing with your ideas. I appreciate that.

I have found the video that demonstrates Tekken's F1 mapping and the effect that you want for your X1. Should sound similar to this:

Let me know what you did or if you still need some help with that.

Thanks Stewe, Now I almost can be reproduce this on my X1 with 1 knob + 1 button, but need some changes to solve a bug, I try later and post here what I did.

The thing I can't understood is why on my rMBP late 2013, the traktor cpu is too high! I don't know if is traktor bug or what, anyway this discuss is to another topic.

BUTTON *all same button and same fx unit*

    Modifier#3>button>direct>1 m3=0
    Modifier#3>button>direct>0 m3=1
    Effect 1 Selector>button>direct>tape delay
fx unit mode selector > button > direct > single
    Button 2 > button>direct>0 m3=0
    Button 2 > button>direct>0 m3=1
    Unit on > button> direct>0 m3=0
    Unit on > button> direct>0 m3=1
    fx store preset> button> trigger
    button 3 > button>direct>0
    dry/wet > button > direct > 0.0
    knob 1 > button > direct > 0.5
    knob 2 > button > direct > 0.5
    knob 3 > button > direct > 0.0

KNOB (all to same knob and same fx unit)
    Button 2 > button>direct>1 m3=1
    Unit on > button> direct>0 m3=1
    D/W adjust > fader/knob > relative > rotary sensitive 60% > m3=1
    Knob3 > fader/knob > relative > rotary sensitive 100% > m3 = 1

I know this is amateur map, have some bugs yet, but I trying to solve this. It's be good if button 2 turn off when the rotary back to 0, may be using a modifier do the job, but I don't know use various modifiers. out to light up the button is a good deal too when effect is active.

As to the comment above. I tried the Tekken mapping. Slowed my computer right down. It's like all the FX are loaded up at once (the CPU hit it has). Which is why I gave up on the Tekken map and just did my own.

ahh! may be is this so! omg, I try reinstall my traktor, downloading atm mavericks again to reinstall and may be is nothing of that, is only the tekking mappings, because I know this slow the traktor when I open preferences, but not at all.
Here if I playing a track and try roll some page on chrome, pooping the sound. Thanks by the tip, I try remove the tekken map and do my own based on tekken.

Cool - I'm glad you have sorted it out canzil! Let me know if you need more help with that mapping.

Just in case anybody want to map this effect and use it directly with fader/knob here is some parameters:

    Modifier #1 / type=button / mode=hold / value=1
    FX Unit Mode / type=button / mode=direct / value=Single
    Unit On / type=button / mode=direct / value=1 (stays always on)
    No Button #1
    Button #2 / type=button / mode=hold
    Button #3 / type=button / mode=direct / value=0
    Dry/Wet / type=fader / mode=relative / rotary sensitivity=60% / acceleration=0%
    Dry/Wet / Modifier Condition M1=0 / type=button / mode=direct / value=0.000
    Knob #1 / type=button / mode=direct / value=0.500
    Knob #2 / type=button / mode=direct / value=0.500
    Knob #3 / type=fader / mode=relative / rotary sensitivity=100% / acceleration=0%
    Knob #3 / Modifier Condition M1=0 / type=button / mode=direct / value=0.000
    Store Preset / type=button / mode=trigger

    Happy mapping

    Stewe
