    I noticed that psy mixes are much shorter than other genres that sometimes have like 2 minute mixes before cutting the master track. Is this possible for psy aswell, or isn't it done at all.

    It depends mate.

    This is like asking if you should drive 60km's an hour or 120.

    It depends....

    Sometimes your mix will be short, sometimes you can ride it.

    There are no real hard and fast rules.

    Watch other DJ's. It will help you a stack.

    Again, I do mostly prog not full on. I average 2-3 minutes per mix. With full on, sometimes I'll go 3 minutes and sometimes 30 seconds, it all depends on the tracks.
