    I've done a few outdoors but they've been at night so haven't had this situation yet.

    Changing LEDs will be a major problem, you have to consider space inside the unit, power consumption, heat etc etc...

    I've had this problem too, when DJ'ing outside, all I can suggest is paying close attention to your laptop screen if you can't see what's happening on the LED's.

    I find that the transport button LED's and some of the others that light up blue are fine outside, its just the ones that are either off or green that are too feint.

    Come on!

    Best thing about mixing in the daytime (Which i know nothing about) is being able to wear your shades!

    You might possibly see the LED's when you got em on.

    Worth a shot!
