Help "Ableton Button mapping"
So i just started to work in ableton and i am right now trying to map my MF 3D to ableton.
What i would like is to map a button so when i push it, it turns on (lets say a knob) and when i let go of the button the knob is turn off again.
Can anybody here help me to do that?
I know i doesnt sound hard, but couldn't find anything on the internet.

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do, but I think momentary effects or gated effects are what you're going for. You probably just had trouble finding stuff because you didn't know the right word for it.
Mad Zach did a tutorial right on DJTT about that: http://www.djtechtools.com/2012/08/1...midi-mappings/.
Is that what you're looking to do?
(Also, Merry Christmas =D)

Yes this i what i was looking for. However i can't make it work. How do i put my midi fighter 3d into "Ableton Mode" in utility 2.1 ?

Newbie
i dont have a MIDI fighter but in Ableton, a Note value is considered as a toggle and CCs are considered as momentary (what you're aiming to do) so I hope that helped
