Pretty neat trick but since I'm learning to scratch, I would give much more props if it was all done manually.

Sounded pretty neat though and in the long run that's all that matters.

Thanks for the feedback! And by all means ... learn away, my friend.

I'm just tweaking my unit ... and sharing results. I used to be decent on turntables .. but let it go. Picked up the S2 last spring and started playing out ... been winging it ... having fun ever since.

I like his forwardness on using the available modern technology built in to controllers / software.

    Crowd loves you = winning.

On my controller I mapped the same sort of thing, accept I use the touch pad as the trigger for the gate effect activation and a couple of buttons to change the gate size. This way when you release the platter the scratch sample will play as normal. To me it sounds a little more natural and you get a wider range of possible sounds with more control. I used to use my EFX1000, but when I went digital I could no longer route it into the mix :'(

Why did the elephant get lost... Cause the Jungle is MASSIVE!

This seemed pretty cliche at first, but in execution it's pretty sweet!

AWESOME! I'm definitely not done tweaking. I just haven't reintegrated my launchpad into my setup ... with which I plan to setup up more controls for an even better effect / sound.

I'm liking Zabiela more and more w/ the videos you guys have recommended.

@Culture - THANKS for checking this out! I probably could have chosen a better name for the subject of the post but ... admittedly ... I chose it defensively, thinking I would get flamed here for such a concept.

In my opinion ... It's about using the tools in front of you to the best of your ability ... taking risks (where applicable) ... And letting the crowd decide.
