Default Hip Hop? Half time Drum and Bass? Anyone familiar with this sound?

Bassnectar's stuff at DnB tempo that is half time really appeals to me, especially the older stuff, and has a certain groove that I really enjoy. It's not quite glitch hop/hip hop, not quite half time drum n bass (or drumstep or whatever for that matter). Anyone familiar with this sort of sound?

    Examples:

or an amateur producer that pretty much emulated bassnectar's style (great track BTW):

DRUMSTEP is the word/gerne you are looking for
I'm just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.

Yes, I am definitely familiar with the term.. However most "drumstep" just sounds like brostep at 174. This groovy stuff is more what I'm looking for. Anyone know of any particular artists? (who might also make DnB or otherwise..)

    Here's another good tune

Beyond Thunderdome - Dieselboy & Bare is one that comes to mind.

Actually, check out a lot of stuff from Dieselboys label.

And yes, its called drumstep, not really a new sound, as dnb been using it for a while now. Lenzman has a few tunes that breakdown into hip hop tempo in the breakdowns and intros.
