Default Audio interface for DJing & Production

    Hi,

Would anyone be able to recommend me a soundcard that's suitable for DJing out as well as using as my production soundcard? Production wise I don't have many midi devices, literally the soundcard is just there for monitoring through my speakers.

    Thanks,

    bobcat

    Check Focusrite Saffire\Scarlett range.
I personally use Saffire 6 USB (2In + 4Out), nice clean sound, loud enough, low latency, great mic pre-amps, price is decent too and overall it really works well. That is one interface I will keep until completely breaks...

Budget? Basically you need two output channels, one for speakers and one for monitors. Any low-end Focusrite ones are fine, for example. Apogee has better DAC and ADC controllers but you need to spent $500 on a Duet.

I also agree with this since you said it is only to play sound through your speakers. IF you need more, this probably won't suffice but for sound through a set of speakers, this will do.
