    Default Bose IE2 for djing?

    As the title says.
Can you use these in-ear headphones for djing?

You can use any headphones for DJing. In-ears tend to work for some people and not for others; they offer the advantage of isolation and of being able to protect your ears if you keep the volume reasonable. But the disadvantage of disconnecting you from the crowd, as well as the annoyance of having crap in your ears if that bothers you.

As for the Bose, they would not be my choice but I have also never heard them. You want something with clear and tight bass response if possible.

    Thanks for the reply,
Got any other in-ears to recommend? preferably cheap, even though I know you get what you pay for.

DJTT sell the westone UM1s and UM2s, the number stands for the number of drivers in each monitor and therefore the higher it is the better the clarity. I can't speak for the 1s or 2s as I've never tried them, but I have the UM3s and they're the bomb. I know the lower models also get good reviews, as do various shure models.

the um-1s looks good, but they don't sell them in my country and the um-2s are to expensive. But I guess I will read a few reviews on the um-1s and then see if I can get a pair off ebay
