Default What's Acceptable To A Club Gear-wise (Yours vs. Theirs)

i'm asking all of you with experience in gigging out in various places where they may have setups (tables and/or mixers) already stationed up. Are you expected to use theirs? if you say "i'd rather use mine" do they care? Not sure how picky the people running that are about it. Any information is greatly appreciated.

In my experience it mainly comes down to space, and the sound guy they have hired. Most of the time they don't want some DJ poking around on the house equipment.

Depends. It's a big switch to move all those cables around if there are other DJs. If it's just you then they might not care.

But there's no harm in asking

You can always just use your equipment and run it thru their mixer....providing there is enough space. I'm never comfortable using others' equipment, as you don't know the how well it performs. It all depends where you are working.
