Default Xone 4D, wait or go for it?

    Hey guys,

Lately I have been thinking of purchasing a xone 4d to use with traktor.
I like how the 4d sounds and thats mainly why I want it.

I will get a rmx 1000 to go along with it if i decide.

The only doubt I have really is about its age, and if it possibly will be a release of a "5d" in the near future.

Anyone here in the same position as me or got any feedback?

at this very moment I use cdj nexuses with 900 nexus mixer but I want to change due to space issues and i also prefer sound of a&h mixers.

I play mainly house, a bit on the funky side and sometimes the deep stuff. Also nice tech house. Occasional mainstream club music.

We havn't seen anything new from A&H in a while. No new announcements as well. I doubt a 5D is around the corner.

Probably the last A&H mixer built with Traktor Scratch certification.
    Go for it.

The 2x Xone K2 over xlink and DB4 or DB2 combo fill the roll of the "5D" and are the next generation of that and are already here, so there won't be a 5D.

Yeah it is prob the last mixer from a&h to be traktor certified, it sounds and feels great. It's just kind of big and the controller sides are a little outdated feeling compared to the nice feeling illuminated buttons on more modern controllers.

thanks for the feedback, agree that the controller sections of it seems a bit outdated, although i have seen a guy who put led lights mod in his 4d. size is not a problem for me.
I also thought that db2+db4 was the followers but a friend of mine brought up some hope when he told me there might be a new 4d on its way.
