I'm looking to build a DJ System and have been looking at Traktor for my DJ software.
What would be the hardware That I need for Traktor ?
Remix decks and what is F1 ?
Thanks for any help you can give me getting started with Traktor !

read a lot, on this forum and on the rest of the internet, maybe you can answer it by yourself?
Find out what you want to do/accomplish. Then search for the perfect gear.
It can take some years to find out and probably it's a never-ending search.
Technically ....

God bless the thinkpad and its little red dot
Read more, and then read more after that. You wouldn't go into a car dealership and say "I want to drive. What should I use? And what is a "car"?
Short answer: you need either a keyboard and mouse, or a midi controller. Or both.
Read EVERYTHING.
I came to the world of laptop DJing after a LONG break; my last proper residency was back when we still spun Vinyl and the CDJ-1000s weren't even out yet. I completely skipped the "CD generation", and read up as much as I could on Traktor and MIDI controllers.
Put simply, you need a soundcard with two pairs of stereo outputs; either for master/monitor use, or for Deck A/Deck B into an external mixer. Most people either buy a separate DJ audio interface like the NI Audio 2, 4, or 8 or 10, or a controller with integrated audio interface like a Numark Mixtrack Pro, Hercules RMX, Reloop Contour, or the Traktor S2/S4.
I will say one thing though; if you've never DJ'ed before, buying a controller will not suddenly mean you know what you're doing.
