Default Aggregate device without losing timecode?

Everything i've read suggests this isn't possible but there has to be a workaround for Traktor.

Has anyone had any luck with this?

Please don't suggest hooky software as i've no interest in it.

There is no non-hooky workaround to use Traktor timecode on an aggregate device.

Do you really not have enough ins/outs with the Audio 8?

Yeah I've got plenty but was merely curious. It's frustrating NI don't open this option up to owners of their hardware.
