Default Doing tricks on a xone 1d like a vci-100

    Hi,

Just wondering if it would be possible to set something up like the beatmasher sample trick on a xone 1d like you can on a vci-100 or are these tricks specific to the vci in some way? cheers

Although every unit sends different midi messages, I'd bet that your 1d could be setup using midi mapping to create the same tricks.

Mostly you're right, however with the 1.3 firmware for, we know that its been modded to send a constant midi output for instance, when a rotary is turned to max. (super knobs!)

The beatmasher sample trick would be very easy to setup on the Zone - all its doing is turning on the beatmasher on its smallest setting, this captures 4 beats of audio.

So all you need to do is map a button to select the beatmasher effect and turn it on, then when you press it again it turns the beatmasher off.
