Default Thinking about getting a Korg Nano Pad?

    HI All

Just a quick question.. I have a macbook 13" and my vci and soundcard take up both the usb ports. Can anyone suggest a solution for getting an extra usb port and if its a powered usb port - can you suggest one as i haven't got a clue what i am looking for.

    Cheers Michael

Usb hub that is powered. If its not powered I thinkyou can still use the VCI with an AC adaptor.

i luv my nanokontrol... but the connector broke recently. im pretty sure they nanopad has the same connector and suffers the same weakness...

if u do decide to buy it, get it from a place like Sweetwater. They have excellent customer service. They're replacing mine and paying for the shipping costs even tho i've had mine for 6 months or so.

the topic of usb hubs has been discussed frequently, just a few days again. maybe also put in a more meaningful topic next time. as in ask about usb hubs in your topic and not only in the post itself.

anyways, so that your title is not without use, you might want to consider the up coming akai micro controllers. they should be out towards the end of september and look more sturdy. however instead of an x/y pad they come with a couple of knobs.

What's the expected price point on those?

... $50 for the Korg is hard to beat.
