    I genuinely don't know. When I played around with the filter on my Xone 42, the LP and HP would sound the same if I started on the opposite ends of the knob.

    highpass cuts out the low parts of the song first and literally lets the high pass through.. low pass lets the low pass through. The best vst filter I have ever heard which is comparable to the xone vcf filters is VPS Philta. to use it in traktor you would need to route the sound through DAW like ableton or use a dj software capable of running VST's like torq or VDJ Pro

    That's just part of the track. But all it is, to achieve a similar effect, would be a quick low pass filter which is then slowly brought back up to through.

    But what about Sebastians? It literally sounds like a space ship or a laser when he turns it on. How do i achieve that?
