I don't doubt this will get more people into DJing
I don't doubt this will get more people into DJing
I used to link music in my signature but nowadays I don't.
Exactly. I don't know if this happened to you guys too, but when the "Tony Hawks Pro Skater" games came out in the late 1990's or whatever, all of a sudden everybody wanted to skateboard in real like (myself included). I think I can speak for a lot of people in my age group that can say video games influenced what we wanted to be and do (or at least that one).
(Nerdy kind of; yes, I know)
And after a while I realized I was no good at it and gave up. Basically I'm seeing a wave of new DJ's emerge and then slowly decline, but still ending with more than before. And all the while helping keep money in these companies that produce these products.
(Sorry for the weird rant)
Just my opinion.

" I’m the Dude, so that’s what you call me. That or, uh His Dudeness, or uh Duder, or El Duderino, if you’re not into the whole brevity thing. "
well..not really. DJing in the beginning was pretty much all about scratching in hip hop. not sure this game is aimed at much past that aspect of it. it's not like Club DJ Hero. just like guitar hero doesn't have you playing much country or death metal. it's all pretty much aimed at one specific genre.
