Default Traktor Scratch A10 & Serato SL4. The price difference is ridiculous!

Can anyone enlighten me as to why the SL4 box is SO much more expensive that the A10? They both have the same 4 deck, DVS functions and arguably Traktor has more versatile software, so why the staggering price difference?

The SL4 goes for about $800 AUD
    A10 for about $500 AUD

That's $300 difference. Half the price of a Maschine

Probably because of the almighty and ever pronounced "Serato is free" myth.
You pay more because you do not pay for the software.

Dual USB, "lifetime" free updates, and in my opinion more reliable hardware. My NI sound cards have always been flaky

I'm going to go with this answer:

    Dual USB, "lifetime" free updates
    SSL - DJM 800 - Technic 1200's - X1 - ITCH - NS6 - VCI-300

An SL4 is actually 2 soundcards meshed into one box. Hence the dual USB-changeover ability.

Although you could argue that you're paying a bit of a premium to have a track browser that makes the slightest bit of sense.
