Default Anyone used Qbert Skratch University?

I'm really curious if you liked it?

It says you can download thousands of beats & I find that intriguing . Are they worth it?

3 months subscription is $90 bucks. Learn some new scratches, have Qbert critique me & get some new beats seems worth $90 bucks....

I will say I don't like signing up for recurring subscriptions & yes I'm familiar with the free DJ Angelo videos on youtube.

    Thanks
    Jeff

It's worth the 90 bucks if you want to take your scratching to the next level. Angello's vids are good, but basic......Qbert goes over A TON of scratches and also covers "scratch theory" (numbers, beats, count, etc). I can't tell you about the beats or the feedback process. I checked out the vids and they were all top notch. Dude makes them all look so easy!

I prefer private instruction but I keep up a subscription there - it's useful.

I love QSU! Being able to send videos and get advise from Q-Bert himself is amazing, and the entire community is really helpful and always there.

+1 I'd make the trip. Nothing beats making your connections. You get alot more than just taking your scratching to the next level. You would be taking your career to the next level too.

QSU has put my scratching through the roof! The best part (aside from ALL of the advice from other members) is that you send in a video of you scratching, and Q sends you a written message about how you are doing, and what to work on next, and then posts a video response with some wicked advice.
Q was stoked on my transforms and suggested that I learn tears to transform.
Totally worth the $30 a month.
